Maintenance Technician (San Joaquin)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Tech will inspect different equipment and perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required. This person should be highly skilled with carious hand and power tools, and able to read blueprints and repair manuals.

Job Type: Full-time (Temp – Perm)

Pay: $24 – $26/hr

Work Location: Regional

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
  • Preform preventative maintenance.
  • Assist with basic repairs and maintenance.
  • Oversee contractors when necessary.
  • Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to use hand and power tools.
  • General maintenance experience required. Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work with individuals and groups.
  • Ability to flex work hours as needed.
  • Painting, texturing, electrical, plumbing, and sheet rock experience preferred.
  • Possess strong interpersonal leadership, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
  • HVAC experience • Valid driver’s license
  • • Reliable transportation
  • High School Diploma or GED required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day and be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to sit, rise, kneel, squat, twist, pull bend multiple times a day.
  • Ability to walk with items in hand, grasp and reach as needed.
  • Ability to perform with repetitive maneuvers and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work in an office environment.
